Angelina Jolie has another surgery after a cancer scare.

FOX News Radio’s Steve Rappoport has the story.

Angelina Jolie had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, as a precaution to prevent cancer. The actress revealed in today’s The New York Times that she underwent the procedure last week.

Jolie says a blood test showed a mutation in a gene that gave her an 87% risk of breast cancer and a 50% risk of ovarian cancer.

The 39-year-old lost her grandmother, mother and aunt to cancer. Jolie had a double mastectomy in 2013.
