A woman accused of removing an unborn baby from another woman is facing attempted murder and child abuse charges in northern Colorado.

FOX News Radio's Jessica Rosenthal reports:

The woman's been arrested for beating up another woman who was seven months pregnant and then cutting the baby from her stomach. The victim was responding to a Craigslist ad to buy baby clothing and went to the suspect's house.

(Satur) "The officer did an incredible job today. He got here with limited information heard her calling for help, and he went in, found her and got her out of the house."

That's Longmont Police Commander Jeff Satur.

She was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.

The suspect Dynel Catrece Lane went to a hospital with the baby and told them she had a miscarriage. The baby didn't survive. Lane has beenĀ arrested.
