Oklahoma University Frat Shut Down Following Video With Racist Chants

A national college fraternity is shutting down its chapter at Oklahoma University after members were seen on a video singing a racist chant.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports.

Some African-American students at Oklahoma University say they’re not surprised to learn white members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chapter were making online videos filled with racist chants and vows to never admit black students…

(Student) “I believe it kinda shows the social climate that we, as African-American students, are — attending school in.”

David Boren is the University President…

(Boren) “This has broken my heart. This is not representative of our students. And I know our students don’t want it to look like it represents our students.”

A message posted on Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s national website says the organization is embarrassed and disgusted.
