Here's what's going viral now on Facebook.
"Mayo Clinic patient's first impressions with bionic eye."
This touching video is trending for all the right reasons. The clip shows a visually impaired man seeing his wife for the first time in roughly a decade, thanks to modern science. Trying out the bionic, ocular device reminiscent of science fiction -- the man is able to see outlines of objects and people, like his wife, who is reduced to tears by the momentous occasion.
Then, there's this:
"Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You."
The Internet really likes Carly Rae Jepsen. The YouTube sensation infamous for her song "Call Me Maybe" is back in the online spotlight with this new, repetitive single. The upbeat tune features breathy vocals and a catchy hook with such eloquent lyrics... it's a wonder why some actually consider song writing a craft.
And, Facebook users are hitting the "like" button on:
"Leonard Nimoy - The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins."
As many fans continue to mourn the passing of Leonard Nimoy, this oldie but goldie clip of the late actor singing about hobbits is finding new found Internet fame. The clip shows Nimoy lounging in the sand, singing an ode about Middle Earth, while surrounded by dancing hippies wearing Vulcan ears.
Live long and prosper, Mister Spock. You will be missed.
