The Prime Minister of Israel is getting ready to give a highly-anticipated speech today .

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports.

House Republicans invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address a joint meeting of Congress. The invitation — which bypassed the White House — upset Democrats, and a number of them may boycott.

During a speech to the pro-Israel lobby group AIPAC, Netanyahu said the purpose of the speech:

(Netanyahu) “Is to speak up about a potential deal with Iran that could threaten the survival of Israel.”

Netanyahu also said the alliance between Israel and the United States has never been stronger.
