Tim McGraw performed the Oscar-nominated song, "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," on the ABC telecast of the Academy Awards from the documentary on Glen Campbell's battle with Alzheimer's. 'I'll Be Me' was written by Glen with producer Julian Raymond. Tim sported a new haircut on the red carpet and his wife, Faith Hill, took on a short, sleek look for the award show. Also, spotted in the audience -- Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman. Nicole was one of the night's presenters.
Toby Keith will soon be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Keith will be joined by Bobby Braddock, who helped write for George Jones, Willie Dixon, Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia. The Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner will take place June 18 in New York.
Willie Nelson has a new movie. The film, 'Waiting for the Miracle to Come,' will also star Charlotte Rampling, with a song written by U2's Bono. The story centers around a young woman whose quest for gold leads her to meet some pretty interesting characters.
