The Band Perry wins its first ever Grammy. Plus, Miranda Lambert explains her rock infused Grammy performance -- and more highlights from music's biggest night.

The Band Perry cannot contain their excitement for their first ever Grammy, for "Gentle on my Mind"...

(Perry) "You know, we are so thrilled. We've been nominated for a Grammy three times... this is the first time we've ever gotten to call ourselves Grammy winners."

Kimberly Perry remembers the moment they set their sights on joining the exclusive Grammy club...

(Perry) "One night, we were watching an Alicia Keys performance, probably 8 - 10 years ago, now... and I just remember saying to the boys... I was like, we just got to find a way to get there. I don't know how, I don't know when."

Miranda Lambert's "Platinum" was named best country album during the 57th annual Grammy Awards ceremony on CBS, and she said this album was special to her...

(Lambert) "Took so much care in picking the right songs to celebrate where I've been and where I'm going, and I feel like it does that."

She also talked about having certain rock influences in her music.

(Lambert) "I love to have a rock element in my music. It's just fun and it gives me energy."

Brandy Clark gave an amazing performance, alongside Dwight Yoakum.

Carrie Underwood, Glen Campbell and Rosanne Cash were among the winners. Cash received three awards from her album, "The River & The Thread".
