An autism advocacy group is urging parents to get their kids vaccinated.

FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has details:

Rob Ring, the Chief Science Officer for “Autism Speaks”, released a statement that says “Over the last two decades, extensive research has asked whether there is any link between childhood vaccinations and autism…” He goes on to say “…The results of this research are clear: Vaccines do not cause autism. We urge that all children be fully vaccinated”.

That statement comes as the number of measles cases in the U.S. is growing.

Five infants who attend a day care near Chicago have been diagnosed, and more kids may have been exposed there.

Federal health officials say there have been at least 100 other measles cases this year, most of which are related to an outbreak at Disneyland in California.
