Facebook’s Oldest User Celebrates Birthday

Facebook’s oldest user is getting ready to blow out a lot of candles.

FOX News Radio’s Dave Anthony reports:

Edythe Kirchmaier’s friends online will get a birthday notification Thursday that’ll be hard not to like. She’s Facebook’s oldest registered user.

(Kirchmaier) “107 and still going strong.”

They threw a party for her Tuesday in California:

(Singing) “Happy Birthday…”

At the offices of Direct Relief, the medical assistance non-profit she’s volunteered for since the 1970’s. Thomas Tighe runs it:

(Tighe) “She’s continued to just come each week and just light up the entire organization when she does with that special spirit and glow.”

Santa Barbara Police were also there, making the 107-year-old Honorary Chief for the day.
