President Obama is getting ready to deliver his next State of the Union address.

FOX News Radio's Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The President is expected to lay out a number of proposals, including raising taxes on wealthier Americans, and giving tax breaks to the middle class. In preview video he said:

(President Obama) "Now that we have fought our way through the crisis, how do we make sure that, everybody in this country, how do we make sure they're sharing in this growing economy."

Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson says people don't want to hear about tax increases -- they want to hear about defeating terrorism.

(Johnson) "We have to defeat ISIS."

The President delivers his address before a joint session of Congress tonight at 9pm ET.
