The new, Republican-led Congress prepares to get to work.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington.

There are 71 freshmen members — 58 in the House and 13 in the Senate — and their first order of business is the Keystone XL Pipeline. Legislation approving the project would surely pass both chambers, but the White House is being coy about whether the President would veto it.

    Press Secretary Josh Earnest…

(Earnest) “The contribution it could make to carbon pollution. The negative impact that has on the public health for people all across the country.”

Some hard line conservatives want to vote in a new House Speaker to replace John Boehner, but they’re not expected to succeed.
