The FBI blames North Korea for the cyber attack against Sony Pictures.

The FBI says it has information to conclude the North Korean government is responsible for hacking into Sony Pictures computers. Federal officials say the cyber attack has similarities to attacks last year against South Korean banks and media outlets carried out by the North.
It's being treated here at the White House as a national security matter and merits, Press Secretary Josh Earnest says, a proportional response.
