Jonathan Gruber to Congress: “I’m Not An Expert On Politics”
Jonathan Gruber, a consultant in the framing of The Affordable Care Act testified in front of Congress this week. The MIT economist attempted to walk back comments he made last year saying in passing the law, proponents played upon “the stupidity of the American voter”. The bipartisan committee was unmoved. Also, the conclusion of a U.S. Senate race in Louisiana officially marks the end of the 2014 Midterm Elections.
