Bah Humbug! Pair Steal Salvation Army Kettle

Stealing from charity gets you crossed off Santa’s “nice” list this Christmas.

Joshua Basinger and Rachel Pecharka admit stealing a Salvation Army donation kettle outside a convenience store in McDonald, Pennsylvania to get money for drugs. Police say they threw the bucket into a trash bin after taking the cash.
Anonymous tips led to the couple from surveillance photos posted on the police department’s Facebook page. The suspects — 30 and 21-years-old. Police say — unemployed and facing eviction.
