Police continue to investigate the death of an Ohio State athlete whose body was found in a dumpster.

FOX News Radio's Tonya J. Powers has more:

Kosta Karageorge's fellow students and teammates are mourning his death... Four days after sending his parents a text message saying concussions had messed up his head.

His body was found a couple hundred yards from his home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Matt Urbaneck attended a vigil for Karageorge on the Ohio State campus.

(Urbaneck) "I was having dinner with my friends when we heard the news and the room just went quiet."

Karageorge was a wrestler at the school for three years before joining the football team as a walk-on this season, playing in one game.

He had last been seen at his Columbus apartment when roommates said he left for a walk.
