Iggy Azalea and One Direction win big at the American Music Awards, and Taylor Swift receives a special honor.

Iggy Azalea wins two awards; One Direction-- three, at the 2014 American Music Awards.

Other big winners include Katy Perry for Single of the Year.  New Artist of the Year -- 5 Seconds of Summer.

For Favorite Country Male Artist-- Luke Bryan. For Favorite Female Country Artist -- Carrie Underwood.

And, Dick Clark's Award for Excellence was issued to Taylor Swift-- who also opened the show with her latest number one hit, "Blank Space."

Sam Smith walked away with Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist.
