Iggy Azalea and One Direction win big at the American Music Awards, and Taylor Swift receives a special honor.

Iggy Azalea wins two awards; One Direction– three, at the 2014 American Music Awards.
Other big winners include Katy Perry for Single of the Year. New Artist of the Year — 5 Seconds of Summer.
For Favorite Country Male Artist– Luke Bryan. For Favorite Female Country Artist — Carrie Underwood.

And, Dick Clark’s Award for Excellence was issued to Taylor Swift– who also opened the show with her latest number one hit, “Blank Space.”
Sam Smith walked away with Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist.
