President Obama To Announce Immigration Action In Prime-Time
The President goes online to announce he’ll go prime-time Thursday on immigration.
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Washington:
President Obama posted a social media video to announce an 8pm ET address tomorrow outlining his plans to fix a broken immigration system he argues Congress has allowed to fester.
(President Obama) “And so what I’m going to be laying out is the things that I can do with my lawful authority as President to make the system work better.”
The executive order is expected to shield as many as five million immigrants, living in the U.S. illegally, from deportation.
A spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner warns if Emperor Obama follows through, it will ruin the chances for Congressional action on immigration and many other issues.
