Charles Manson Gets License To Wed

Mass murderer Charles Manson is getting married… really.

FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal reports: 

The California Department of Corrections confirms they have a marriage license with Charles Manson’s name on it. 

Manson, who is now 80-years-old is getting married to a 26-year-old woman.

Afton Elaine Burton moved outside the prison in Cochran, California nine years ago. According to the AP, she runs websites advocating Manson’s innocence.

Corrections spokeswoman Terry Thornton says they can have a ceremony, though no date’s been set yet. Up to ten guests who aren’t inmates can come, and they can have someone officiate from outside the prison. 

(Thornton) “He’s not been granted a parole date, therefore he is not eligible for family visits.”

AKA — conjugal visits. They have to marry in 90 days or get a new license. Burton reportedly says the ceremony will happen next month.
