This Sunday at Homestead — Miami Speedway NASCAR will crown a new champion at the Ford Eco Boost 400, Kyle Larson makes plans for the off -season and Team Penske has Brad Keselowski pulling double duty this weekend.

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh reports in “FOX in the Fast Lane”:

FOX in the Fast Lane.

It will be a weekend of first-timers at Homestead — Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, and Ryan Newman competing in the season finale to become a first time Cup champion.

Kevin Harvick says after years of almost winning at Richard Childress racing, the move to Stewart-Haas Racing has been a game changer:

(Harvick) “Coming over here and racing this year has given me new life.”

Joey Logano got some good advice from crew chief Todd Gordon about the best way to approach the Chase:

(Logano) “Don’t reinvent the wheel at this point. You just polish the wheel a little bit, and just become a little better in every area.”

Kyle Larson will compete in three dirt track races in the off season — the first full time NASCAR driver to race on dirt, since the August 9th accident that killed driver Kevin Ward Junior.

And, Brad Keselowski races this weekend in the Cup finale and fills in for teammate Joey Logano in the Nationwide Series finale as Logano prepares to race for his first Cup title.
