2014 Midterm Elections: GOP Win Key Governor’s Races [VIDEO]
Republicans did well in several Governor’s races around the country.

In Florida…
(Scott) “The campaign is over.”
Republican Rick Scott wins a second term as Governor, squeaking out a win over Former Governor Charlie Crist.
Wisconsin’s GOP Governor Scott Walker sweated out a victory, keeping him in the discussion of the 2016 presidential race.
(Walker) “True freedom and prosperity doesn’t come from the mighty hand of the government. It comes from empowering people to live their own lives.”
Texas elects Republican Greg Abbott to succeed Rick Perry.
(Abbott) “Texas understand that government is supposed to be the servant of the people, not the other way around.”
Illinois voters defeat Democratic incumbent Pat Quinn, picking Bruce Rauner.
A generally Democratic state Maryland elects a Republican Governor Larry Hogan.
Massachussetts picks Republican Charlie Baker over Martha Coakley.
While in Iowa, Republican Terry Branstad wins a sixth term.
(Branstad) “God bless the state of Iowa and God bless the United States of America.”
Giving him the chance to become the longest serving Governor in American history.
