The Chase continues into week five with Saturday night racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Bank Of America 500. Sam Hornish Jr. gets a full time job with Richard Petty’s team, and it’s a big birthday for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh reports in this week’s “FOX in the Fast Lane”:

Kyle Busch has scored top ten and top five finishes in the Chase but no wins yet, but that could change this weekend at Charlotte because…

(Busch) “I love that place I love going there having good runs. Hopefully we… our test set we did a couple of few weeks ago is good for us that we are able to have a fast race car there as well.”

Joey Logano can enjoy this week’s race at Charlotte knowing his Kansas win propels him into the next round of elimination races, which takes him one step closer to possibly winning his first Cup title:

(Logano) “We’re excited about our shot to win this Championship this year we just have to keep on doing what we’ve been doing.”

Sam Hornish Jr. will be racing full time in the Cup Series for Richard Petty Motorsports starting next season. He’s taking over for Marcos Ambrose who is going back to his native Australia. Hornish, a three-time IndyCar Series champion, was driving part time in the Nationwide series for Joe Gibbs racing.

And happy birthday to Dale Earnhardt Jr. He turns 40 years old this week.
