Can we stop Ebola at the U.S. border? Some members of Congress want us to try.

FOX News Radio’s Jill Nado has the report in this installment of “Securing America”:

Securing America.

Plenty of lawmakers like Republican Senator Rand Paul and Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson say the U.S. would be safer if we were to ban incoming flights from countries hit hard by Ebola, like Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.

But, Dr. Tom Frieden of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says…

(Frieden) “This would be very damaging to the countries. It would be very damaging to the ability to get help in for them, for people to be willing to go to help and be able to get out.”

Frieden says the only way to eliminate America’s risk of Ebola spreading is to stop it at the source – Western Africa.
