Tom Cutinella, a sixteen-year old junior, played for Shoreham-Wading River High School. On Wednesday he collided with an opponent, then collapsed during the third quarter of the game. He suffered a head injury and was rushed to the hospital where he later died. Cutinella, who was a linebacker and guard, had been in intensive care after undergoing surgery.
