It’s been dubbed the latte salute. President Obama saluting Marines with a paper cup in his hand earlier this week.

FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern takes a look at the media sensation.

It’s not the way they teach it at Parris Island. President Obama stepping off Marine One with a paper coffee cup in his right hand and offering a salute to Marines. Critics calling it a sign of disrespect from the Commander in Chief.

(Kurtz) “It’s not unrelated to the fact that there are lots of people who are not political fans of this President, who will jump on him for anything.”

Media critic Howard Kurtz hosts “Media Buzz” on FOX News Channel.

(Kurtz) “Do most Americans care about this? I doubt they care very much. But, on the other hand, these images, because of social media and other outlets, do have a way of becoming indelible.”

Not unlike… Kurtz says… the way critics of President Bush made fun of his unscripted moments.
