Yes or No? Scotland Votes On Independence Referendum [VIDEO]
Voters in Scotland head to the polls today , to decide whether or not Scotland will break from the United Kingdom — to become an independent country.
FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen reports from Edinburgh, Scotland.
As you walk around Edinburgh, the words “yes” and “no” are everywhere — on stickers, signs, pin badges, chalked on the sidewalk. Millions of Scots having their say about their country’s future.
(Voter) “I’m voting yes.”
He says he’s had enough of Scotland being run by lawmakers at the British Parliament in London, saying too often it doesn’t represent Scottish voters.
(Voter) “In the years that I’ve been alive, I’ve never voted for a government that’s come into power.”
Those on the other side say there’s too much up in the air about how an independent Scotland would prosper.
