KILMEADE KONDENSED: 09/10/14

Listen here for the Kilmeade Sound Medley of the day

HOUR 1

FOX’s Chief Congressional Correspondent MIKE EMANUEL discussed the Ray Rice situation (Mike went to Rutgers and had a unique perspective on how the school is dealing with this).  He and Brian then talked about how the President is addressing the nation at 9 tonight rather than an early afternoon talk.  Mike also talked about how GOP leaders met with the President yesterday and that they told him to be tough and that he is going to ask for money to help train the Free Syrian Army.

HOUR 2

Senator DAN COATS (R-IN) weighs in on what President Obama needs to say tonight.   Senator Coats explained that he wants to hear the President come down and let everyone know that this ISIS is a global problem and that we have to take the lead to defeat them.  He also said that moderate Muslim nations have to step up and fight against ISIS or they will be overrun too.  We have evil in the world and have to deal with it of they will come here to us.

Kris “Tanto” Paronto  and John “Tig” Tiegen, 2 of the Annex security members whose story is described in “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened In Benghazi” dropped by and explained that while they were out in Libya they were always on high alert and not just on September 11th, that is why their deployment time is so short.   They were stationed at the Annex at the time of the attack in Benghazi.  Kris and John explained that they were a mile away and ready to go to the Consulate minutes after the attack began but were told to stand down.  After 25 minutes they defied orders and went out to the Consulate to help those being attacked.  Tig and Tanto said that the fight lasted for 13 hours with no help from the U.S. Military or any of our allies who are nearby.   They believe that if they were allowed to go immediately they would have been able to save Ambassador Stevens.

HOUR 3

America’s Newsroom co-host MARTHA MACCALLUM dropped by and touched on Secretary Kerry flying to Iraq, Ray Rice and more.
