Actor And Director Richard Attenborough Dies
Richard Attenborough – actor, director and giant of British cinema, dies at 90.

Richard Attenborough was known to one generation of movie-goers as the head of a genetic engineering company, whose cloned dinosaurs run amok in the box office hit Jurassic Park.

To another generation, Attenborough was the British officer who masterminded the Great Escape from a German POW camp.
And, for others – he was the man who directed the classic Gandhi, which won 8 Academy Awards, including Best Director and Best Picture.
(Attenborough) “You honor Mahatma Gandhi and his plea to all of us to live in peace.”
As an actor, Attenborough appeared in more than 70 films. Behind the camera, he directed a dozen movies.
Richard Attenborough was 90.
