Vowing to continue to confront terrorism, President Obama scorns the Islamic group ISIS for killing American reporter James Foley and thousands of Muslims, Christians and others while claiming to be a religion.

Speaking from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, the president didn't talk about the ISIS demand that American airstrikes stop, but U.S. officials had already said the strikes are continuing.
