Russia Announces Ban On Food Imports From U.S. and EU

    A counter-punch from Russia for all the sanctions over Ukraine.

    In a live broadcast on Russian TV… The Prime Minister announcing a ban on meat, fruit, vegetables and dairy products from the U.S. and European Union.

    Last year America exported more than a billion dollars’ worth of food and agriculture products to Russia. In Europe it was more like $16 billion.

    But this could also hurt ordinary Russians with the risk of food prices spiking.

    Russia saying it’s also considering banning Western airlines from using its airspace.
