Another tragedy in the skies. This time, a passenger plane has gone down in Taiwan.
FOX's David Piper has the details from Bangkok, Thailand:
The TransAsia Airways plane was carrying 58 passengers and crew on a flight from Kaohsiung on the Taiwan mainland to the Penghu islands off the West Coast.
Taiwan's Transport Minister says as many as 47 people may have died in the crash. The pilot is believed to have tried twice to land the plane. During the second decent, the control tower is reported to have lost contact with the aircraft.
