Federal Appeals Court Delivers Blow To Obamacare

    Obamacare

Tax credits are a key way to make Obamacare more affordable for people buying health insurance. But for many Americans, this subsidy has just been blocked.

FOX News Radio’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:

A Federal Appeals Court says the Internal Revenue Service was wrong to allow Obamacare tax subsidies in all 50 states. A three-judge panel says the law as written allows the subsidies only in the 14 states that have set up their own exchanges. This decision eventually could mean premium increases for more than half of the eight million Americans who bought taxpayer-subsidized insurance. Probably, the ruling will reach the Supreme Court before there’s a final decision.
