TSA Cracking Down On Cell Phones, Electronic Devices [VIDEO]

Airport Security

There’s new TSA electronics screening at some overseas airports.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports:

Homeland Security officials are concerned terrorists could use electronic devices to bring down airplanes… so Secretary Jeh Johnson told NBC’s Meet the Press:

(Johnson) ”I directed that we step up our aviation security at last point, some last point of departure airports coming into the United States.”

That means if you’re traveling overseas, make sure your devices are turned on.

These passengers at Newark International don’t mind the change.

(Passengers) “The more security the better.//Everything has to be thorough.”

The TSA could confiscate devices at some overseas airports if they don’t power on.
