A man holding his breath in an Oregon tunnel causes a three-car crash.

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:

Nineteen-year-old Daniel Calhon held his breath Sunday afternoon as he drove his car through the Highway 26 tunnel northwest of Portland. He passed out, his car drifted across the center line, crashing head-on with an SUV. Another truck slammed into Calhon’s car, only non-life threatening injuries reported.

(Drivers) “That’s about the craziest thing I’ve heard.//Sometimes young people do stupid things.”

Other drivers reacting. Calhon was cited for reckless driving, reckless endangerment and assault. And no word on why he was holding his breath through the almost 800-foot-long tunnel which at posted speeds only would have been about ten seconds.
