By the time Elliot Rodger’s parents raced to find him Friday after seeing his rants online, Rodgers had already stabbed three men, including two UC Santa Barbara roommates, leaving his neighbors shocked.

(Neighbor) “I don’t understand how he could’ve like overpowered three guys all at the same time without any of the making a sound because I was right upstairs all night.”

Rodgers later shot and killed two women at a sorority house, and another UC Santa Barbara student at a deli, and injured over a dozen others, before killing himself.

The rampage fueled in part by Rodger’s frustration with women. UC Santa Barbara declaring a day of mourning and will be closed tomorrow.
