They had threatened to boycott, but now Democrats will sit on the Benghazi select committee.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she's appointing five members to the committee --
(Pelosi) "To try to bring some openness and transparency to what's going on."
Republicans are pleased with the decision. Representative Trey Gowdy, who's heading up the committee, says he welcomes the Democrats.
Leader Pelosi named Congressman Elijah Cummings as Ranking Member. Representatives Adam Smith, Adam Schiff, Linda Sanchez and Tammy Duckworth will also serve.
