Memorial Day Weekend Travel Forecast

More Americans are planing a trip this Memorial Day weekend.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports:

AAA’s holiday travel forecast shows more than 36 million people will get away this Memorial Day weekend, a new post-recession high. The Auto Club’s Chief Operating Officer, Marshall Doney, says people are eager to get away after a long, hard winter.

(Doney) “People are sick and tired of hibernating indoors and they’re looking forward to some summer travel fun.”

Most people will take the family car. AAA also expects gas prices to decline slightly this summer.
