Donald Sterling, the LA Clippers owner banned for life from the NBA for racist remarks, apologizes.

Almost two weeks after the NBA banned Donald Sterling for life for racist comments on a leaked audio tape, the Clippers owner breaks his silence, telling CNN…
(Sterling) “I’m a good member who made a mistake and I’m apologizing and I’m asking for forgiveness.”
He says he’s been distraught over the scandal. He also says was used and baited by the woman recording his comments, that he doesn’t want to sell the team. And Sterling’s estranged wife Shelly says she’ll fight to keep her half of the Clippers. But the NBA says if Donald Sterling’s ownership in terminated, so is Shelly’s.
