Another MERS Case Confirmed In The U.S.

The second MERS case, confirmed in the U.S. has some key things in common with the first.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown has the story from Miami:
This new patient, confirmed to be infected with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus, is from Saudi Arabia– just like the one hospitalized a week or so ago in Indiana. This new patient is under isolation at an Orlando, Florida hospital.
Dr. Frieden: “On May 1st, the patient traveled from Saudi Arabia to Florida. On May 8th, the patient went to the emergency department of a Florida hospital and was admitted on the same day.”
Doctor Tom Frieden with the Centers for Disease Control. And just like the first patient, this new patient is a healthcare worker in Saudi Arabia.
