Performers were hurt Sunday during an circus act accident in Providence, Rhode Island.
FOX News Radio's Jeff Monosso reports:
Some 4,000 people, mostly families and children, were watching Sunday at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence a stunt, in which eight Ringling Brothers performers hang from a metal frame like a human chandelier when something went wrong.
(Witness) "They were hanging by their hair... all the girls hanging by their hair and then it just falls to the ground."
The eight women fell 25 to 40 feet, landing on a performer below. We're told none of the injuries are life threatening. Investigators are on scene but have yet to determine the cause.
