At Least 2 Killed, More Than 100 Injured By Explosion At Florida Jail
A deadly explosion rocked a Florida jail overnight.

Officials describe a big blast at the Escambia County Jail in Pensacola, Florida just before midnight last night , causing the building to partially collapse with some 600 prisoners inside at the time. Two confirmed dead. Over 100 injured.
(Castro) “Injured inmates have been transported to area hospitals under guard.”
Escambia County’s Kathleen Castro. An investigation is underway as to the cause of the explosion. Heavy rains drenched the region the last couple days. No word if extensive flooding was a factor.
