Actor Bob Hoskins Dies
British actor Bob Hoskins has died.
FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen reports from London:
Bob Hoskins — dying at age 71. His wife and four children in a statement saying he passed away peacefully in the hospital surrounded by family after a bout of pneumonia.
Hoskins — known for his gravelly voice and diminutive stature is perhaps best-known for his role in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”.
(“Who Framed Roger Rabbit”) “I’m sorry I yanked your ears.”//”All the times you yanked my ears?”
He also starred in “Hook”, “The Cotton Club” and dozens of other movies. He won a Golden Globe in the 80’s for “Mona Lisa”.
But Hoskins retired in 2012 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, saying he wanted to spend time with his family.
