Remembering the Fallen at Fort Hood
The President and First Lady attended a Memorial Service Wednesday afternoon to honor the three brave men who were killed last week by a gunman on Post at Fort Hood.
Along with the President, speakers included:
Chaplain (Col) Matthew M. Goff
Lieutenant General Mark A. Milley
General Ray Odierno, Chief of Staff of the Army
Hon. John M. McHugh, Secretary of the Army
The service also included the singing of the Star Spangled Banner and Amazing Grace, a roll call of the unit, and the rendering of honors to the fallen with three rifle volleys and the playing of taps.
