A Minnesota school district settles with a student for snooping on her online conversations.
Fox News Radio's Chris Foster reports:
A 70,000 dollar settlement between the Minnewaska Minnesota School District, the American Civil Liberties Union and Riley Stratton.
In sixth grade-- two years ago, she was called in by school administrators, with a Sheriff's deputy there and told to hand over her Facebook and e-mail passwords. Another parent had complained about a conversation and Riley ended up getting detention for something she wrote about a teacher's aide. Now, parents have to give written consent for their kids' passwords to be shared.
