HOUR 1
Lt. Col. ALLEN WEST (Ret.) talked about the cuts to the defense budget and the crisis in Ukraine and what we can expect from Russia. On withdrawing troops in Afghanistan the Lt. Colonel explained that the Taliban can re-emerge.
SCOTT MCEWEN & RICHARD MINITER, authors of Eyes on Target, talked about what it takes to be a Navy SEAL and all the sacrifices they and their families have to make. They also talked about the attack in Benghazi and why no rescue team was sent in to help.
HOUR 2
FOX’s Chief Congressional Correspondent MIKE EMANUEL discussed the meeting between President Obama and Speaker Boehner and what, if anything, they can get the 2 parties to get done. Mike also explained that the Armed Services Committee members are surprised by the massive military cuts that are being proposed. They also touched on Democrats running for mid-term re-election is opting for a push by former President Clinton and not President Obama.
Author of Johnny Carson HENRY BUSHKIN weighs in on all the late night TV show changes. Henry explained that although Jay worked hard he doesn’t see any kid growing up wanting to Jay Leno. He also touched on the similarities between Johnny and new “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon.
