Religious Book May Have Saved OH Bus Driver’s Life

    2-25 Bus Bible

A bus driver was attacked in Ohio — and survived with a little help from a religious book.

FOX News Radio’s Dave Anthony reports:

Rickey Waggoner was standing next to the bus he drives in Dayton, Ohio on Monday, checking a possible mechanical problem, when three men shot and stabbed him:

    (Yelling)

An attack caught on surveillance video. He took two bullets to the chest:

(Waggoner) “It just feels like I’ve been hit with a sledgehammer. I’ve got the book in my pocket and I don’t think they made it through this book.”

That book he talked about in his 911 call was religious, full of Bible verses and it shielded him, stopping the bullets. Dayton Police Sergeant Michael Pauley thinks there was divine intervention:

(Pauley) “He probably should not be here.”

Waggoner was taken to a hospital, but his injuries were not life threatening.
