Obamacare Employer Mandate Delayed For Some

    Poll Health Overhaul

More time to comply with Obamacare: that’s what certain businesses get in final rules released by the Obama administration.

FOX News Radio’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:

This new alteration in the Affordable Care Act penalty date applies to companies with between 50 and 99 employees. Like larger businesses, they were supposed to have had health insurance in place for workers by January 1, 2015. But now the Treasury Department says those mid-sized employers will have an additional year, until 2016, to meet the coverage mandate. Companies with 100 or more employees still face the 2015 deadline. Under the law, companies with fewer than 50 employees don’t have to offer coverage.
