Criticized ‘Jeopardy!’ Contestant Responds [VIDEO]
The reigning champion of ‘Jeopardy!’ is responding to all the critics of his style of play.
FOX News Radio’s Dave Anthony reports:
Arthur Chu has annoyed viewers with his rapid buzzing and fast play:
(Chu) “Canadian Bodies, 16.”
And for jumping around category to category, searching for daily doubles:
(Chu) “Uh, Sigh Of Relief, 2,000.”
Going after the highest value questions first. And it all amuses Chu because it’s hardly a new ‘Jeopardy!’ strategy:
(Chu) “The first person to play like I play was Chuck Forest who was the Champion back in 1985 when I was one year old.”
But in this social media age:
(Chu) “I was live-tweeting my episodes as they aired.”
Even responding to his critics directly:
(Chu) “I don’t get paid for making people on Twitter happy. I get paid for winning the game.”
Chu’s won nearly $103,000 over four days and returns to the show February 24th.
