Pregnant Teacher Fired In Montana, To Pursue Legal Action
An unmarried teacher at a Catholic school in Montana is fired after getting pregnant.

The superintendent of Catholic Schools for the diocese in Montana saying teacher Shaela Evenson made a willful decision to violate the terms of her contract, which he says requires her to respect the moral and religious teachings of the Catholic church, in her personal and professional life. Evenson telling The Montana Standard newspaper she is pursuing legal action.
A diocese spokesman saying they don’t investigate the personal lives of employees, but they were forced to act when they learned about the pregnancy.
