Deadly Movie Theater Shooting In Florida
Update: The shooter has been identified as Curtis Reeves, a 71 year-old former police captain. He’s been charged with second-degree murder.
One person has been killed and another wounded after a shooting at a movie theater in Florida.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
A man is dead and a woman wounded following a shooting inside a movie theater in the Tampa suburb of Wesley Chapel. It started because people were texting during the afternoon showing of “Lone Survivor”.
Tobin: “An altercation took place between the two parties and the male suspect shot the male-female couple sitting in front of him.”
That suspect is now in custody says Pasco County, Florida Sheriff’s spokesman Doug Tobin. A good samaritan detained the man before deputies arrived. The theater was evacuated with no one else hurt.
